Note: [General terms](#general) always apply, regardless of which service you are using. Certain services have their own terms of service alongside the general terms that you have to follow too.
## Punishments
A punishment is usually either a warning or a account termination on all services hosted on StarOpenSource infrastructure. \
If you think you got punished unfairly, write an email to [appeals@staropensource.de](mailto:appeals@staropensource.de) with all relevant information. \
Note: Spamming or abusing the appeal email address or evading a punishment will lead to you being unable to appeal ever again.
- §GI1 Repositories must be somewhat related to the StarOpenSource Project or it's members unless you've gotten an exception from StarOpenSource's management
- §GI2 Don't submit off-topic or brainless issues or pull requests

- §FE1 Mark NSFW *(breasts, genitals, etc.)* content appropriately (mark images as NSFW and apply a content warning)
- §FE2 Use content warnings when necessary *(gore, spoilers, voilence, etc.)*
- §FE3 Boosting *(also called renoting)* content that violates StarOpenSource's Terms of Service can be punished
- §FE4 Don't post attention grabbing content unless you have a really good reason for it
- §FE5 Don't beg for followers/boosts/etc.
- §FE6 You are allowed to posess more than one account as long as you are reasonable (eg. having a public and private account). This rule is an amendment to §GE7 only applying to sos!fly
