# Hi!
We are **the StarOpenSource Project**. We develop **open source** applications, games and tools without any **tracking, ads or analytics**.

# Who are you?
We are a organization focused on developing **free**, **libre** and **open source** *(FLOSS)* software under the **GNU Affero General Public License 3 *(or later)***. We are a one-person-team at the moment unfortunately.

# What are you doing?
We are doing these things at the moment:

# Terms of Service
Note: [General terms](#general) always apply, regardless of which service you are using. Certain services however have their own rules alongside the general terms that you have to follow too.
## Punishments
A punishment is usually either a warning or a account termination on all services hosted on StarOpenSource infrastructure. \
If you think you got punished unfairly, write an email to [appeals@staropensource.de](mailto:appeals@staropensource.de) with all relevant information. \
Note: Spamming or abusing the appeal email address or evading a punishment will lead to you being unable to appeal ever again.
## General
- §GE1 Follow german laws. StarOpenSource is a project based in Germany.
- §GE2 Don't abuse StarOpenSource's server infrastructure or it's services
- §GE3 Don't abuse other people, be friendly
- §GE4 Don't harass, discriminate, manipulate, gaslight, bully or troll others
- §GE5 Do not beg for stuff, it's annoying
- §GE6 Don't be a nazi
- §GE7 Only posses one account. Using multiple accounts is not allowed unless you've recieved an exception from StarOpenSource's management
- §GE8 You are required to report misbehaving users. Not doing so may result in you being punished too
## sos!git
- §GI1 Repositories must be somewhat related to the StarOpenSource Project or it's members unless you've gotten an exception from StarOpenSource's management
- §GI2 Don't submit off-topic or brainless issues or pull requests
## sos!fly
- §FE1 Mark NSFW *(breasts, genitals, etc.)* content appropriately (mark images as NSFW and apply a content warning)
- §FE2 Use content warnings when necessary *(gore, spoilers, voilence, etc.)*
- §FE3 Boosting *(also called renoting)* content that violates StarOpenSource's Terms of Service can be punished
- §FE4 Don't post attention grabbing content unless you have a really good reason for it
- §FE5 Don't beg for followers/boosts/etc.
- §FE6 You are allowed to posess more than one account as long as you are reasonable (eg. having a public and private account). This rule is an amendment to §GE7 only applying to sos!fly
